Fished the Pamunkey yesterday and the water temperature ranged from 40 to 46 degrees in the channel. Some of the creeks had 49 degree water. Ralph caught two fish and for the first time I was skunked. I spent the majority of yesterday fighting backlashes. I had to re-string my new reel before I made the first cast for some reason. That set the tone for the reast of the day.

First Skunk... So now you got that out of the way... Sorry it was a grind it out kind of day. That 2.5 pounder was the highlight. The water should warm this week and the fish should turn on strong. Gotta hit some ponds soon too. I enjoyed the company on Monday.
