I've a club bass tournament in June on the Chick. In prior trips there, (always in June), We've missed the money by a small margin. I do fairly well fishing some of the cypress trees and a few of the feeder creeks on the outgoing tide but I have real trouble when it comes to fishing the lilly pads. What is the secret for the lilly pads? I've fished every inch of the pads going up toward Walkers Dam from Rivers Rest using frogs, worms and anything that will not hang up in them but I can't seem to catch a fish. Can anyone here give me some help with this. Oh yeah, by the way, the previous winners in the past report that they caught most of their fish on the pads.
