Hit the water today to try and catch some early season Ring Perch. No luck, lost 2 rigs and went through 2 dozen minnows. I tried several different holes, some loaded up with bait. Wind was really blowing crazy and the snow melt has certainly chilled the water down. Most place were registering 35 degrees. The last time out the water was 43. I hope these next couple of days of 50 degree weather will warm the water for this weekends tournament.
